Glucomannan Drink Mix
500mg Konjac Glucomannan, Mixed Into 8 To 16oz Of Water
Most glucomannan you can buy is a capsule you swallow dry or a loose powder that gels in the glass before you finish stirring. Ozzi puts 500mg of konjac glucomannan in a flavored stick you mix into a full glass of water and drink before your biggest meal, alongside 8g of allulose and 500mg of butyrate. That matters more than it sounds: the fiber is one of three things in the glass working on fullness, which is the whole reason a 500mg dose is worth taking. We break the math down below rather than leave you to assume one stick is a gram-level dose when it's 500mg.

How To Use
Since Ozzi is caffeine and sugar free, you can take it at any time your cravings start to hit.
Mix Ozzi with 16-20oz of chilled water.
If you'd like some bubbles, you can mix with ~4oz of still water, then pour in sparkling water on top slowly to avoid foam spilling over.
Pro Tip: Use daily for best results. Start with 1/2 if you have a sensitive gut.
What To Expect
You're fine all day. Then the couch, the quiet, and the evening pull toward the snack drawer. That's the moment Ozzi was built for. Here's how it plays out.
DAY 1: Ozzi works fast. Allulose satisfies your sweet tooth without spiking your blood sugar, and the fiber starts to fill you up, so the evening cookie pull gets weaker.†
DAY 7: Butyrate is feeding your gut lining and the cells behind your fullness hormones.‡ You might notice a steadier appetite and fewer "I'm not even hungry" snack runs.
DAY 30: Your gut and brain are communicating better. Ozzi supports your body's natural GLP-1 and PYY, the signals that tell you you're full, plus a healthy blood-sugar response. Less food goes further.‡
MONTH 2+: Reaching for Ozzi instead of the snack drawer is just what you do now. The habit's stuck, and the benefits keep building.
† Based on ingredient mechanisms: allulose tastes sweet but isn't metabolized like sugar, so it doesn't raise blood glucose; glucomannan, a soluble fiber, forms a gel that promotes fullness.
‡ Butyrate is the primary fuel for gut-lining cells and, with other short-chain fatty acids, stimulates GLP-1 and PYY release from intestinal L-cells in laboratory and animal research. Allulose has been shown to support a healthy post-meal blood-sugar response in human studies at comparable doses. Individual results vary.

Ingredients & Allergies
Ingredients
Ozzi contains 6 clinically studied active ingredients:
Allulose, Konjac Glucomannan, L-Lysine Butyrate (as BIOMEnd), African Mango Extract (Irvingia gabonensis seed), and Chromium Polyursolate (as Metabolex, chromium bound to ursolic acid). Each stick also delivers 860% daily value of Chromium.
Other ingredients: Citric Acid, Silica, Natural Flavor, L-Tartaric Acid, Reb M (OnoSweet), Pink Himalayan Sea Salt, and Trisodium Citrate.
5 calories per stick. 0g sugar. No caffeine. No monk fruit. No stevia. No synthetic dyes or sweeteners.
Allergies
Ozzi is free from dairy, nuts, soy, monk fruit, and stevia. Contains no caffeine and no artificial colors.
Despite the name, African mango isn't actually mango. Ozzi uses African mango (Irvingia gabonensis), a seed from a completely different plant family than the common mango (Mangifera indica) you find at the grocery store.
Here's why that matters. The compound behind most mango skin reactions is urushiol, the same irritant found in poison ivy and poison oak. It turns up in common mango because mango sits in the same plant family (Anacardiaceae) as poison ivy, cashews, and pistachios. African mango isn't in that family, so it doesn't carry urushiol.
If you have specific dietary concerns, please review the full supplement facts label or contact us before use.
Natural GLP-1
GLP-1 is a natural hormone your body produces. It binds to receptors in your brain for 3 minutes before it is cleared, but it turns the receptor on for hours.
GLP-1 Agonists, commonly referred to just as "GLP-1", are a pharmaceutical mimic of your natural hormone. They stay active in the body for about a week.
Ozzi is formulated to help support your body's natural GLP-1 secretion.
Here's what customers who've tried GLP-1 medications are saying about Ozzi:
"I cannot say enough about this product. I was on a GLP-1 for 2 years and benefited most from the food noise reduction. I chose to get off of it due to its high cost. I have tried absolutely everything on the market and nothing, absolutely nothing has had the same effect until I came across Ozzi. I am a customer for life! This product is genuinely revolutionary for those who have struggled with ongoing cravings and food noise. I'm locked in. Thank you, thank you!" - Noralyn
"I've been using Ozzi for just a few days now but it definitely curbs my hunger. It's so much more pleasant than the feeling I got from the GLP-1 meds. No nausea at all. And it tastes great too!" - Dan
Not everyone will experience the same results. That's why we offer the 14-Day Ozzi Challenge: take it for 14 straight days, and if your cravings and food noise aren't quieter, we'll refund your first bag.

Four ways to take glucomannan
Same fiber. The format changes the dose you can realistically take, the water you have to remember, and the risk.
Doses are per serving as sold. Ozzi has 500mg of konjac glucomannan per stick, which is below the gram-level doses used in glucomannan trials, and we say so in the table rather than under it.
What konjac glucomannan actually is
Glucomannan is a soluble fiber from the root of the konjac plant, an elephant yam grown mostly in East Asia. If you've eaten shirataki noodles, you've eaten it already.
It's one of the most viscous soluble fibers there is. A small amount turns a glass of water into a gel, and it holds many times its own weight in water while it does it. That single property is where every effect comes from, the good ones and the cautions both. Keep it in mind, because the rest of this page is really about what that gel does and how much of it you're getting.
Why viscosity is the whole mechanism
Viscous meals sit differently. MRI work in humans found that a more viscous meal left people feeling fuller and was diluted less in the stomach (P<0.02), while the meal's nutrient content mattered more for how fast the stomach emptied than the thickness did (Marciani 2001). Glucomannan is a way to raise that viscosity without adding calories.
The same slowing effect has been measured a different way. In a controlled metabolic trial, konjac-mannan eaten as fiber-enriched biscuits at 8 to 13g a day improved a marker of glycemic control (serum fructosamine, better by 5.2%) and cholesterol measures including apolipoprotein B in people with insulin resistance syndrome, at sixteen to twenty-six times the 500mg of glucomannan in one Ozzi stick (Vuksan 2000). Fasting glucose didn't move in that trial. It's a mechanistic result about what a viscous fiber does to a meal, not a treatment result, and we aren't presenting it as one.
The dose question, answered honestly
Here's the number first: Ozzi has 500mg of konjac glucomannan per stick.
The glucomannan weight-loss literature used 1.24g to 4g a day, usually split across meals, which is two to eight times the 500mg in one stick. Even at those doses, the pooled trials showed no statistically significant weight loss versus placebo: a mean difference of -0.22kg, with a confidence interval running from -0.62 to 0.19 (Onakpoya 2014). That's a null result, and it's a large part of why we decline the European claim instead of borrowing it.
That claim, the EFSA one, is written for 3g a day taken as three 1g doses with water, six times the 500mg in one stick. Ozzi is not a 3-gram glucomannan product and does not borrow that claim. What glucomannan does carry at lower amounts is appetite support, which is the kind of claim US supplement rules allow glucomannan to carry, and that's what it's here for.
Then the part that's actually the product argument. The 500mg isn't supposed to do the job alone. It's one of three things in the glass. Anyone selling you 500mg of glucomannan on its own while quoting the gram-level trials is doing arithmetic they hope you skip. All six actives and their doses are listed on the ingredients page.
The three-mechanism stack
Gel-fiber fullness from the 500mg of glucomannan is one lever. 8g of allulose is the second: in a randomized human crossover study it engaged the gut sweet taste receptor and moved satiation hormone release (Teysseire 2022). 500mg of butyrate is the third: it supports the L-cells that release GLP-1, and that evidence is mouse and cell work rather than human, which we say every time we say it (Yadav 2013). There's more on how butyrate reaches the gut if you want it.
Three different levers on the same feeling, in one glass, is a different proposition from one lever at a bigger number. It's also the honest frame for what this is: a drink that supports natural GLP-1 production, not a replacement for anything.
How to take it, and the water rule
One stick in 8 to 16oz of water, 15 to 30 minutes before your biggest meal. Drink it rather than nurse it over an hour, because the gel forms as it hydrates and it'll thicken in the glass while you're still holding it.
The water isn't a suggestion. Viscous fiber taken with too little liquid can swell in the esophagus, and there are published case reports of obstruction from glucomannan products swallowed that way (Clin Toxicol 2007). That risk belongs to dry capsules, tablets and unstirred powder. A drink that's already dissolved before it reaches your throat sidesteps it, which is a real reason to prefer the format and not a marketing line.
Medications and who should ask a doctor first
Viscous fiber can slow or reduce how some oral medications absorb. The standard guidance is to separate glucomannan from oral medications by a couple of hours, and to talk to your doctor first if you take anything dose-sensitive. Chromium is in the formula as well and can affect blood sugar.
Every dose is printed on the label, so that's a short conversation rather than a guessing game about a proprietary blend. What's verified and how it's verified is on our testing and certification page, where Ozzi is certified to NSF/ANSI 173. The rest of the ingredient work lives in the Ozzi guides.

What a Doctor Says About Ozzi
"Drink packets curb cravings while promoting healthy blood sugar"
"When late-night cravings hit, I recommend this drink powder as a possible snack replacement. One ingredient I want to highlight is chromium polyursolate. Research on a related form, chromium picolinate, suggests that it may reduce food intake, lower hunger ratings, and decrease fat cravings in overweight women. Chromium can support insulin function and glucose metabolism, which may help keep blood sugar steady enough to avoid triggering cravings. I find this pairs nicely with the African Mango seed extract in this blend, which research suggests may be connected to improvements in body weight, waist size, and fasting blood sugar. Overall, I believe this supplement can be a helpful option for patients looking to manage cravings and support metabolic health."†

Glucomannan, Answered
The questions people actually search. More on the FAQ page.
What is glucomannan?
It's a soluble fiber from the root of the konjac plant, an elephant yam grown mostly in East Asia. It's one of the most viscous fibers there is, which means a small amount turns a large amount of water into a gel.
That gel takes up room in your stomach and slows how quickly a meal leaves it, which is why it gets used for appetite support. Every effect glucomannan has, good and bad, comes from that one property.
How much glucomannan is in Ozzi?
500mg of konjac glucomannan per stick. We'll be straight about what that number is and what it isn't.
The glucomannan studies people quote used 1.24 to 4 grams a day, usually split across meals, which is two to eight times the 500mg in one stick. Ozzi is not a 3-gram glucomannan product and does not borrow that claim.
The 500mg is one of three satiety ingredients in the same glass, working with 8g of allulose and 500mg of butyrate, and it's dosed to sit alongside them rather than carry the whole job alone. If you want a standalone gram-dose fiber, buy one. If you want three mechanisms in one drink you'll actually finish, that's what this is.
Is glucomannan safe?
For most people, yes, with two real cautions.
First, water. Glucomannan swells as it hydrates, and taken dry as a capsule, a tablet or an unstirred powder it can swell in the esophagus. There are published case reports of obstruction from exactly those formats. Always take it with a full glass of liquid. A drink mix sidesteps the problem because it's already dissolved before you swallow it.
Second, medications. Viscous fiber can change how some oral medications absorb, so separate it from them by a couple of hours and ask your doctor if you take anything dose-sensitive. Every dose in Ozzi is on the label, so that's a short conversation rather than a guess about a proprietary blend. See our testing and certification page for what's verified and how.
The common side effects are the usual fiber ones: gas, bloating, and looser or firmer stools while you adjust.
Does glucomannan help with appetite?
Appetite support is the kind of claim US supplement rules allow glucomannan to carry, and the mechanism isn't mysterious: a viscous gel in your stomach slows how a meal leaves it and you feel fuller.
Human MRI work found that a more viscous meal left people feeling fuller and was diluted less in the stomach, and that the meal's nutrient content mattered more for emptying speed than viscosity did. How much of a difference you notice depends on the dose, the timing, and what else is in the glass. In Ozzi, the 500mg of glucomannan is working with 8g of allulose and 500mg of butyrate.
When should I take glucomannan, before or after meals?
Before. Fifteen to thirty minutes before your biggest meal is the window we recommend, because the gel needs time to hydrate and settle in your stomach before the food arrives.
Taking it after a meal misses most of the point.
How much water do I need with it?
8 to 16oz per stick, and drink it rather than nurse it. If you sip a viscous fiber slowly, it thickens in the glass while you're still holding it.
The water isn't optional with any glucomannan product. It's the difference between a fiber that works and a fiber that causes problems.
How long does glucomannan take to work?
The fullness part is same-day. You'll notice it at the meal you took it before.
The craving and food noise side is a daily-use effect that builds, which is why the 14-Day Ozzi Challenge runs 14 straight days rather than asking you to judge it on one glass.
Glucomannan pills versus a drink: which is better?
Pills are convenient, and they're the format behind every choking warning you've read, because a capsule or tablet that swells is only safe if you drink enough water with it and plenty of people don't. Loose powder is the cheapest per gram and the least pleasant to get down, and it gels in the glass if you stir it slowly.
A drink stick arrives already dissolved, brings its own water requirement with it, and in Ozzi's case brings two other satiety ingredients along. If your only goal is the largest number of grams of glucomannan for the least money, buy the powder, because one stick is 500mg. We're honest about that.
Is konjac fiber the same thing as shirataki noodles?
Same plant. Shirataki noodles are konjac glucomannan already hydrated and shaped into a noodle, which is why they're nearly calorie-free and why they hold a sauce badly.
Eating them is a food swap. Taking glucomannan before a meal is a different move, aimed at how much of the meal you want in the first place.
What if it doesn't work for me?
14-Day Ozzi Challenge: Take it for 14 straight days. If your cravings and food noise aren't quieter, we'll refund your first bag.
All three parts of that matter. It's 14 consecutive days of daily use, the refund applies if your cravings and food noise aren't quieter, and it covers your first bag.
There's nothing to send back, because we don't do returns. Keep the bag either way. Email help@heyozzi.com with your order number and confirm you used it daily for two weeks. Refunds are valid within 28 days of delivery.
Does glucomannan work for weight loss?
Glucomannan is a viscous fiber from the konjac root. It absorbs water and thickens into a gel, which slows how fast your stomach empties and supports fullness when you take it with water before eating. That mechanism is real.
What it is not is a weight-loss agent. Ozzi has 500mg per stick, which sits below the doses used in some of the trials people cite, and we would rather say that out loud than bury it. Fiber supports the fullness side. The eating pattern around it is still doing the work.
