Blood Sugar Support Drink

Sweet, Without The Spike That Starts The Craving

4.0 (315)

Cravings aren't always about willpower. A fast blood sugar spike is followed by a dip, and the dip is the part your brain reads as "eat something now." Ozzi is a daily drink stick with 8g of allulose for sweetness that doesn't drive that spike, 500mg of konjac fiber, and chromium to support normal insulin function. Six actives, every dose printed. If you take blood sugar medication, talk to your doctor before you try it. That isn't fine print, it's the first thing on this page.

From $55.00 a bag. Free US shipping on orders over $75.

Take medications, or pregnant or breastfeeding? Ask your doctor first. Every dose is on the label, and it's third-party certified, so it's a short conversation.

How To Use

Since Ozzi is caffeine and sugar free, you can take it at any time your cravings start to hit.

Mix Ozzi with 16-20oz of chilled water.

If you'd like some bubbles, you can mix with ~4oz of still water, then pour in sparkling water on top slowly to avoid foam spilling over.

Pro Tip: Use daily for best results. Start with 1/2 if you have a sensitive gut.

What To Expect

You're fine all day. Then the couch, the quiet, and the evening pull toward the snack drawer. That's the moment Ozzi was built for. Here's how it plays out.

DAY 1: Ozzi works fast. Allulose satisfies your sweet tooth without spiking your blood sugar, and the fiber starts to fill you up, so the evening cookie pull gets weaker.†

DAY 7: Butyrate is feeding your gut lining and the cells behind your fullness hormones.‡ You might notice a steadier appetite and fewer "I'm not even hungry" snack runs.

DAY 30: Your gut and brain are communicating better. Ozzi supports your body's natural GLP-1 and PYY, the signals that tell you you're full, plus a healthy blood-sugar response. Less food goes further.‡

MONTH 2+: Reaching for Ozzi instead of the snack drawer is just what you do now. The habit's stuck, and the benefits keep building.

† Based on ingredient mechanisms: allulose tastes sweet but isn't metabolized like sugar, so it doesn't raise blood glucose; glucomannan, a soluble fiber, forms a gel that promotes fullness.

‡ Butyrate is the primary fuel for gut-lining cells and, with other short-chain fatty acids, stimulates GLP-1 and PYY release from intestinal L-cells in laboratory and animal research. Allulose has been shown to support a healthy post-meal blood-sugar response in human studies at comparable doses. Individual results vary.

Ingredients & Allergies

Ingredients

Ozzi contains 6 clinically studied active ingredients:

Allulose, Konjac Glucomannan, L-Lysine Butyrate (as BIOMEnd), African Mango Extract (Irvingia gabonensis seed), and Chromium Polyursolate (as Metabolex, chromium bound to ursolic acid). Each stick also delivers 860% daily value of Chromium.

Other ingredients: Citric Acid, Silica, Natural Flavor, L-Tartaric Acid, Reb M (OnoSweet), Pink Himalayan Sea Salt, and Trisodium Citrate.

5 calories per stick. 0g sugar. No caffeine. No monk fruit. No stevia. No synthetic dyes or sweeteners.

Allergies

Ozzi is free from dairy, nuts, soy, monk fruit, and stevia. Contains no caffeine and no artificial colors.

Despite the name, African mango isn't actually mango. Ozzi uses African mango (Irvingia gabonensis), a seed from a completely different plant family than the common mango (Mangifera indica) you find at the grocery store.

Here's why that matters. The compound behind most mango skin reactions is urushiol, the same irritant found in poison ivy and poison oak. It turns up in common mango because mango sits in the same plant family (Anacardiaceae) as poison ivy, cashews, and pistachios. African mango isn't in that family, so it doesn't carry urushiol.

If you have specific dietary concerns, please review the full supplement facts label or contact us before use.

Natural GLP-1

GLP-1 is a natural hormone your body produces. It binds to receptors in your brain for 3 minutes before it is cleared, but it turns the receptor on for hours.

GLP-1 Agonists, commonly referred to just as "GLP-1", are a pharmaceutical mimic of your natural hormone. They stay active in the body for about a week.

Ozzi is formulated to help support your body's natural GLP-1 secretion.

Here's what customers who've tried GLP-1 medications are saying about Ozzi:

"I cannot say enough about this product. I was on a GLP-1 for 2 years and benefited most from the food noise reduction. I chose to get off of it due to its high cost. I have tried absolutely everything on the market and nothing, absolutely nothing has had the same effect until I came across Ozzi. I am a customer for life! This product is genuinely revolutionary for those who have struggled with ongoing cravings and food noise. I'm locked in. Thank you, thank you!" - Noralyn

"I've been using Ozzi for just a few days now but it definitely curbs my hunger. It's so much more pleasant than the feeling I got from the GLP-1 meds. No nausea at all. And it tastes great too!" - Dan

Not everyone will experience the same results. That's why we offer the 14-Day Ozzi Challenge: take it for 14 straight days, and if your cravings and food noise aren't quieter, we'll refund your first bag.

The spike is not the problem. The dip is.

Lunch, then a fast rise, then a fall that lands lower than where you started. The fall is the part your brain reads as hunger. A drink that doesn't start the rise doesn't hand you the fall.

1 2 3 drink 1 hour 2 hours 3 hours 4 hours relative blood glucose
  • a sugary drink
  • a drink built not to spike you
Illustrative. This drawing shows the shape of the mechanism described below. It is not a measurement, not data from a study, and not a prediction of your own readings.
  1. Peak, about 30 minutes in. This is the part everyone talks about.
  2. Dip, 2 to 3 hours in, landing lower than where the line started.
  3. "Feed me now." The dip is where the craving lands, not the peak.

Why 3pm feels like that

Lunch, an hour of feeling fine, then the floor drops out somewhere around 2:30 and the only thought available is something sweet. Most people file that under discipline. It's closer to physiology.

The best data on this isn't from a clinic. Researchers put continuous glucose monitors on 1,070 people across a UK and a US cohort, fed them 8,624 standardised meals, then tracked 71,715 meals the participants chose for themselves. The dip 2 to 3 hours after eating predicted hunger, how soon they ate again, and how much they ate better than the peak did (Wyatt et al., Nature Metabolism, 2021, PMID 33846643; there's a published author correction, PMID 34253908). The spike gets the attention. The dip is what sends you looking for something sweet. There's more on that loop in our health guides.

What "blood sugar support" should and should not mean

The ceiling, out loud. Ozzi supports a healthy blood sugar response. It does not lower blood sugar, treat anything, or change a number on a meter, and any product page promising you a reading is making a claim it can't keep.

What a well-built drink can do is narrower and more useful: be sweet without driving the spike, and slow the meal you drink it with. That's a mechanism story about a drink, not a treatment story about a condition. If you got here from a sugar craving suppressant search, it's the same loop seen from the other end.

Not causing the spike, instead of chasing it

Allulose is the reason the drink is sweet. It's a rare sugar the body largely doesn't metabolise for energy, and the human data is better than most sweetener stories. In a randomised crossover trial, 30 adults without diabetes took a standard 50g sucrose load with escalating allulose doses; 7.5g and 10g both produced significantly lower plasma glucose at 30 minutes than placebo, and 10g reduced the overall glucose excursion (Franchi et al., BMJ Open Diabetes Res Care, 2021, PMID 33637605; the trial included authors employed by an allulose manufacturer, which is worth knowing). A separate randomised trial found allulose engages the gut sweet taste receptor and affects satiation hormone release in humans (Teysseire et al., J Nutr, 2022, PMID 35135006). Ozzi uses 8g, inside the range where the effect showed up, and the full ingredient case is on our allulose drink mix page.

The counterweight belongs in the same breath. When the same family of sugars was tested at small catalytic doses, the effect didn't hold: a double-blind randomised equivalence trial in healthy participants found no significant effect at those low doses (Braunstein et al., Nutrients, 2018, PMID 29890724). The dose is the whole argument. That's why the label prints grams.

Slowing what comes with it

Konjac glucomannan is a viscous fiber. It thickens in the stomach and slows how fast carbohydrate reaches the bloodstream. In a human study, adding glucomannan to rice gruel dose-dependently lowered the 30-minute rise in glucose and insulin in 25 adults without diagnosed diabetes (Yoshida et al., Ann Nutr Metab, 2020, PMID 32659777).

Now the limits, stated plainly. A meta-analysis of six trials covering 124 participants found glucomannan significantly reduced fasting glucose, and that effect was clearest in diabetic patients, which is a reason to be careful about reading it as a benefit for the person this page is written for. For postprandial glucose it did not reach significance at all (Mirzababaei et al., J Diabetes Metab Disord, 2022, PMID 35673426). Six small trials is a thin evidence base and the mixed result is the real one. Ozzi doses 500mg.

The chromium question, answered honestly

Chromium has decades of research behind insulin-function support and it's on nearly every blood sugar shelf in America. Two things those shelves leave out.

First, the trial everyone quotes isn't testing our dose. The most cited chromium and cravings study randomised 42 overweight women who reported carbohydrate cravings to chromium picolinate or placebo for 8 weeks, and it found reduced food intake, lower hunger and fewer fat cravings (Anton et al., Diabetes Technol Ther, 2008, PMID 18715218). Good result. It used 1,000 micrograms, more than three times the chromium in a stick of Ozzi, and it used the picolinate form, not the chromium and ursolic acid complex we use. We're not going to borrow that result and let you assume it transfers, because on dose and on form it doesn't.

Second, the null. A meta-analysis covering 618 people found no effect of chromium on glucose or insulin among the participants without diabetes, and called the rest of the data inconclusive (Althuis et al., Am J Clin Nutr, 2002, PMID 12081828). The 618 is the whole pooled set, 193 of whom had diabetes, so the null result is the subgroup without it. That subgroup is exactly who this page is written for.

So why is it in the formula. Chromium is an essential mineral with a defined role in normal insulin function, it's cheap to dose properly, and in Ozzi it comes as Chromium Polyursolate (as Metabolex): roughly 300mcg of chromium paired with roughly 10mg of ursolic acid, so the ursolic acid is the larger part by mass. It's a supporting ingredient, not the reason the drink works. Anyone selling chromium as the mechanism is overselling it, and anyone quoting the 1,000 microgram trial next to a 300 microgram label is hoping you don't check.

On 860% of the Daily Value: that number looks alarming and it isn't. The Daily Value for chromium is 35 micrograms, a small number, so a 300 microgram dose produces a large percentage. Chromium has no established tolerable upper intake level from food and supplements at these doses. That's the plain version, and it's the version worth printing. Every other dose is on the science on every ingredient page.

Who this is not for

If you take medication for blood sugar, talk to your doctor before you try Ozzi. Chromium can interact with blood sugar medications, and viscous fibers like glucomannan can change how some oral medications absorb. Bring the label to the appointment. Every dose is printed on it, so it's a two-minute conversation, not a research project.

If you have diabetes or prediabetes, your care team runs this, not a drink stick. Ozzi is not a treatment for any condition and it doesn't replace anything your doctor has you on. Ask them before adding it.

This page is written for metabolically healthy people who are tired of the spike, crash and crave loop, and who want something sweet in the afternoon that doesn't start the loop over again.

Pregnant or breastfeeding: ask your doctor first. That's the honest answer for any supplement, this one included.

Six actives, every dose printed, and the product is certified by Eurofins Healthcare Assurance to NSF/ANSI 173 (certificate 20260428-0002). The paperwork is on our testing and certification page.

14-Day Ozzi Challenge: Take it for 14 straight days. If your cravings and food noise aren't quieter, we'll refund your first bag.

What a Doctor Says About Ozzi

Dr. Anand Balasubramanian, MD Verified clinician · Internal medicine · 19 years in practice

"Drink packets curb cravings while promoting healthy blood sugar"

"When late-night cravings hit, I recommend this drink powder as a possible snack replacement. One ingredient I want to highlight is chromium polyursolate. Research on a related form, chromium picolinate, suggests that it may reduce food intake, lower hunger ratings, and decrease fat cravings in overweight women. Chromium can support insulin function and glucose metabolism, which may help keep blood sugar steady enough to avoid triggering cravings. I find this pairs nicely with the African Mango seed extract in this blend, which research suggests may be connected to improvements in body weight, waist size, and fasting blood sugar. Overall, I believe this supplement can be a helpful option for patients looking to manage cravings and support metabolic health."†

Well, my biggest compliment is also a complaint. 🤪 Sometimes I want to eat out of boredom and I can.’t. My body and mouth will not crave anything. Also, true that constancy is key the second week was when it fully kicked in. Will be buying constantly. Will not run out. I refuse. 😊

Great tasting product! I must confess I was a bit skeptical at first, having tried so many other products in the past. Ozzi definitely cuts down my evening cravings and the watermelon flavor is quite nice!

Vita D. Verified Customer

I love the cherry limeade and watermelon flavors. I drink one in the morning and one in the evening. Basically the times I'm usually craving something sweet. These help me feel satisfied.

Tianna J. Verified Customer

I've been really happy with the product. Not only does it help to curb hunger, but I no longer need my fiber supplements. I don't find the smell off-putting and the taste is great. It's been a winner for me!

Tricia C. Verified Customer

Ozzi does exactly what I wanted it to do - stop my evening munchies. I find it best if I drink it before the munchies have a chance to set in. And yeah - it definitely adds bulk to my "waste management." I already get plenty of fiber, so it took my body a couple days to recalibrate. Both favors are great, with a little zing. So it's a little treat in its own way.

Blood Sugar Questions, Answered Straight

The questions people actually search, including the ones with an uncomfortable answer. More on the FAQ page.

Can I take this if I have diabetes?

Ask your care team, and let them make the call. We're not going to tell you a drink stick belongs in the management of a diagnosed condition, because it doesn't. Ozzi is a supplement, not a treatment, and it doesn't replace anything your doctor has you on.

Two specific things to raise with them: chromium can interact with blood sugar medications, and viscous fibers like glucomannan can change how some oral medications absorb. Every dose is printed on the label, so bring it with you and it's a two-minute conversation.

What drinks don't spike blood sugar?

Water, unsweetened tea and black coffee are the baseline, and nothing beats them. Beyond that it comes down to what the sweetness is made of.

Ozzi is sweetened with 8g of allulose, a rare sugar the body largely doesn't metabolise for energy, which is why the drink tastes sweet without driving the rise a soda does.

Does chromium help with blood sugar?

Chromium is an essential mineral with a defined role in normal insulin function, and it has decades of research behind it. Two honest caveats belong in the same breath.

First, the null: a meta-analysis covering 618 people found no effect of chromium on glucose or insulin among the participants without diabetes. Second, the trial everyone quotes isn't testing our dose. The chromium and cravings study you see cited used 1,000 micrograms of chromium picolinate, more than three times the chromium in a stick of Ozzi and a different form, so we don't claim its result.

Chromium supports normal insulin function. It isn't the reason Ozzi works, and anyone selling it as a blood sugar fix is overselling it.

Why does it have 860% of the Daily Value of chromium?

Because the Daily Value for chromium is only 35 micrograms, so a 300 microgram dose turns into a big percentage. Chromium has no established tolerable upper intake level from food and supplements at these doses.

The percentage looks dramatic. The dose is ordinary for a chromium supplement, and it's printed on the label rather than buried in a blend.

Why do I crave sugar in the afternoon?

Often because of what happened at lunch. A fast rise in blood sugar is followed by a dip a couple of hours later, and that dip is what registers as sudden hunger.

In a study of 1,070 people wearing continuous glucose monitors, the 2 to 3 hour dip predicted hunger and how much they ate next better than the peak did. The 3pm crash isn't a character flaw.

Is this a blood sugar supplement or a craving supplement?

Both, because they're the same loop. Ozzi is built for cravings, and the way it approaches them is by supporting a healthy blood sugar response instead of starting another spike. The same ingredients do double duty on the fullness side, which is the story on our natural GLP-1 support page.

If you want a product that promises to lower your blood sugar, this isn't it, and we'd be careful with anything that does promise that.

Will it lower my blood sugar?

No, and we won't say it does. Ozzi supports a healthy blood sugar response. It isn't a treatment, it doesn't target a number, and if a supplement page tells you what your reading will be after taking it, close the tab.

Does allulose raise blood sugar?

The human research says it doesn't drive the rise that sugar does. In a randomised crossover trial in 30 adults without diabetes, allulose taken with a standard sucrose load produced significantly lower plasma glucose at 30 minutes at the 7.5g and 10g doses.

Ozzi uses 8g per stick, inside the range where the effect showed up. Dose is the whole argument, which is why the label prints grams.

How much fiber is in it, and will it bloat me?

500mg of konjac glucomannan per stick, a viscous fiber that thickens in the stomach and slows how fast carbohydrate gets absorbed. It's a deliberately modest dose.

This isn't a fiber-bomb drink, which is exactly why most people can drink it daily without the afternoon they were trying to avoid.

What if it doesn't do anything for me?

14-Day Ozzi Challenge: Take it for 14 straight days. If your cravings and food noise aren't quieter, we'll refund your first bag.

All three parts matter: 14 consecutive days, the refund applies if your cravings and food noise aren't quieter, and it covers your first bag.

There's nothing to send back. Email help@heyozzi.com with your order number and confirm you used it daily for two weeks. Refunds are valid within 28 days of delivery.

What are the symptoms of a blood sugar spike?

For most people without diabetes it shows up as a pattern rather than one symptom. Twenty minutes after a big carb meal you feel foggy and heavy. An hour or two later you are suddenly, urgently hungry again, usually for something sweet. That second part is the crash, and it is what most people call a craving.

If you have diabetes, or you are reading numbers off a meter, this page is not your source. That is a conversation for your doctor. Ozzi supports a steadier glucose response with 8g of allulose and Chromium Polyursolate. It is not a treatment for anything.

What foods don't spike blood sugar?

Protein, fat, and fiber are the steady ones: eggs, fish, meat, nuts, olive oil, non-starchy vegetables, plain yogurt. Order helps too. Eat the protein and the vegetables before the bread or the rice and the same meal lands softer.

Ozzi is not a replacement for any of that. It is the thing you drink before the meal you were going to eat anyway, with 8g of allulose, 500mg of glucomannan, and Chromium Polyursolate supporting a steadier response.
