How to Mix an Ozzi Crave Crusher Stick

2 second demo · Ozzi Crave Crusher

This is what one Ozzi stick looks like going into cold water. The powder ribbons down through the ice, clouds the glass for a few seconds, then dissolves clear. That is the whole ritual, and it takes about fifteen seconds start to finish.

The steps

  1. Fill a glass with 16 oz of cold water. Ice optional, but cold water dissolves it faster and tastes better.
  2. Tear the stick at the notch and pour the full packet in.
  3. Stir for 10 to 15 seconds until the water runs clear again. A spoon, a straw, or a shaker bottle all work.
  4. Drink it when the craving hits, not on a schedule. Most people reach for it in the late afternoon or after dinner.

What you will notice

  • It clouds, then clears. The white plume in the video is the powder dispersing. Give it a few seconds of stirring and it goes translucent.
  • It thickens slightly. That is the konjac glucomannan, a soluble fiber that takes on water. A little body in the glass is normal and expected.
  • There is a faint smell. That comes from the butyrate. It is the most distinctive ingredient in the formula and it does not carry through to the taste.
  • It is sweet without sugar. The sweetness is allulose, which has roughly 90% fewer calories than table sugar. The whole stick is 5 calories.

Common questions

  • Hot water? Stick with cold or room temperature. Hot water is not necessary and cold gives you a better texture.
  • Less water? 16 oz is the ratio the formula is built around. Less water makes it noticeably sweeter and thicker.
  • Shaker bottle? Works well. Ten seconds of shaking is plenty.
