How To Use

Since Ozzi is caffeine and sugar free, you can take it at any time your cravings start to hit.

Mix Ozzi with 16-20oz of chilled water.

If you'd like some bubbles, you can mix with ~4oz of still water, then pour in sparkling water on top slowly to avoid foam spilling over.

Pro Tip: Use daily for best results. Start with 1/2 if you have a sensitive gut.

What To Expect

You're fine all day. Then the couch, the quiet, and the evening pull toward the snack drawer. That's the moment Ozzi was built for. Here's how it plays out.

DAY 1: Ozzi works fast. Allulose satisfies your sweet tooth without spiking your blood sugar, and the fiber starts to fill you up, so the evening cookie pull gets weaker.†

DAY 7: Butyrate is feeding your gut lining and the cells behind your fullness hormones.‡ You might notice a steadier appetite and fewer "I'm not even hungry" snack runs.

DAY 30: Your gut and brain are communicating better. Ozzi supports your body's natural GLP-1 and PYY, the signals that tell you you're full, plus a healthy blood-sugar response. Less food goes further.‡

MONTH 2+: Reaching for Ozzi instead of the snack drawer is just what you do now. The habit's stuck, and the benefits keep building.

† Based on ingredient mechanisms: allulose tastes sweet but isn't metabolized like sugar, so it doesn't raise blood glucose; glucomannan, a soluble fiber, forms a gel that promotes fullness.

‡ Butyrate is the primary fuel for gut-lining cells and, with other short-chain fatty acids, stimulates GLP-1 and PYY release from intestinal L-cells in laboratory and animal research. Allulose has been shown to support a healthy post-meal blood-sugar response in human studies at comparable doses. Individual results vary.

Ingredients & Allergies

Ingredients

Ozzi contains 6 clinically studied active ingredients:

Allulose, Konjac Glucomannan, L-Lysine Butyrate (as BIOMEnd), African Mango Extract (Irvingia gabonensis seed), and Chromium Polyursolate (as Metabolex, chromium bound to ursolic acid). Each stick also delivers 860% daily value of Chromium.

Other ingredients: Citric Acid, Silica, Natural Flavor, L-Tartaric Acid, Reb M (OnoSweet), Pink Himalayan Sea Salt, and Trisodium Citrate.

5 calories per stick. 0g sugar. No caffeine. No monk fruit. No stevia. No synthetic dyes or sweeteners.

Allergies

Ozzi is free from dairy, nuts, soy, monk fruit, and stevia. Contains no caffeine and no artificial colors.

Despite the name, African mango isn't actually mango. Ozzi uses African mango (Irvingia gabonensis), a seed from a completely different plant family than the common mango (Mangifera indica) you find at the grocery store.

Here's why that matters. The compound behind most mango skin reactions is urushiol, the same irritant found in poison ivy and poison oak. It turns up in common mango because mango sits in the same plant family (Anacardiaceae) as poison ivy, cashews, and pistachios. African mango isn't in that family, so it doesn't carry urushiol.

If you have specific dietary concerns, please review the full supplement facts label or contact us before use.

Natural GLP-1

GLP-1 is a natural hormone your body produces. It binds to receptors in your brain for 3 minutes before it is cleared, but it turns the receptor on for hours.

GLP-1 Agonists, commonly referred to just as "GLP-1", are a pharmaceutical mimic of your natural hormone. They stay active in the body for about a week.

Ozzi is formulated to help support your body's natural GLP-1 secretion.

Here's what customers who've tried GLP-1 medications are saying about Ozzi:

"I cannot say enough about this product. I was on a GLP-1 for 2 years and benefited most from the food noise reduction. I chose to get off of it due to its high cost. I have tried absolutely everything on the market and nothing, absolutely nothing has had the same effect until I came across Ozzi. I am a customer for life! This product is genuinely revolutionary for those who have struggled with ongoing cravings and food noise. I'm locked in. Thank you, thank you!" - Noralyn

"I've been using Ozzi for just a few days now but it definitely curbs my hunger. It's so much more pleasant than the feeling I got from the GLP-1 meds. No nausea at all. And it tastes great too!" - Dan

Not everyone will experience the same results. That's why we offer the 14-Day Ozzi Challenge: take it for 14 straight days, and if your cravings and food noise aren't quieter, we'll refund your first bag.

What changed, and what didn't

Every article on this topic asserts the same chain and none of them draw it. Here it is, one link at a time, with the honest stop at the end.

  1. Step 1 Estrogen fluctuates, then falls

Perimenopause isn't a smooth decline. Levels swing, sometimes higher than they ever were, then drop. That's why one week feels normal and the next doesn't.

  2. Step 2 Appetite signaling shifts

Estrogen interacts with the systems that regulate hunger and fullness, including leptin and serotonin. When it moves, those signals move with it.

  3. Step 3 Cravings get louder

Not new cravings. The same ones, with the volume up and the off-switch slower. In a 2025 review of 15 datasets in premenopausal women aged 18 to 45, energy intake ran about 168 calories a day higher in the luteal phase than the follicular phase [1]. That's cycle research, not menopause research, and it's here to show appetite tracks the hormonal environment in humans.

  4. Step 4 This is the part you can act on

You can't put estrogen back with a drink. You can support the fullness side, which is where GLP-1 sits, and Ozzi is built for that one job.

What this page is not saying. Ozzi does not change your estrogen, treat menopause, or affect hot flashes, night sweats, sleep or mood. It works on appetite and cravings. If you want to talk about hormone therapy, that's a conversation with your doctor, and Ozzi works alongside whatever the two of you decide.

Where you are in it

  • Perimenopause Typically your 40s. Periods still happening, but changing.

The most unpredictable window. Levels swing rather than settle, so cravings vary week to week. Most women who write to us about this are here.

  • Menopause The 12-month mark since your last period.

A marker date, not an event you feel. Appetite changes that started earlier usually carry on through it.

  • Postmenopause Everything after that date.

Levels are low and steady. In the SWAN cohort, which followed midlife women with repeated DXA scans, body composition changes accelerated around the transition and then flattened out about two years after the final period [2]. Cravings get more predictable for a lot of women, which is not the same as gone.

Stages as defined by the Stages of Reproductive Aging Workshop. Timing varies a lot between women.

How to use it

  • One stick in 8 to 12oz of cold water. Stir, or shake it in a bottle if you want it colder and frothier.
  • Take it when your cravings actually hit. For most women who write to us that's the 8 to 10pm stretch, and there's no caffeine or stimulants in it, so an evening stick won't cost you sleep.
  • Daily is the point. The fiber fullness is immediate, the rest builds with consistent use, which is why the 14-day guarantee asks for 14 straight days.

The craving arrives at a time it never used to, for foods you didn't used to want, and the move that always worked before, which was to ignore it until it passed, has stopped working. The most common thing women tell us about this stretch isn't that they're hungry. It's that they thought they had gotten worse at something they used to be fine at.

I'm a man in my thirties, so I'm not going to tell you what perimenopause feels like. What I can tell you is what happens to appetite signaling when estrogen drops, because that's the part I've spent three years formulating around. The rest of this page is mostly customers who are actually in it.

Why hunger changes when estrogen does

Estrogen doesn't only do reproductive work. It interacts with the systems that regulate appetite, including leptin signaling and serotonin. When estrogen levels move, those signals move with them.

The cleanest human evidence for the estrogen and appetite link doesn't come from menopause research at all. It comes from the menstrual cycle. A 2025 systematic review and meta-analysis in Nutrition Reviews pooled 15 datasets covering 330 premenopausal women aged 18 to 45, mean age 26, and found energy intake ran about 168 calories a day higher in the luteal phase than in the follicular phase [1].

Say the limit out loud: those were premenopausal women aged 18 to 45, tracked across a menstrual cycle, not women going through menopause. It doesn't prove perimenopause does the same thing. What it does show is that in humans, not rodents, appetite tracks the hormonal environment, at a size you'd notice. The authors themselves flag methodological inconsistency across the studies they pooled, so read the number as a direction rather than a precise figure.

Then there's body composition. The SWAN cohort followed midlife women through the menopause transition with repeated DXA scans. The rate of fat gain roughly doubled at the start of the transition while lean mass declined, and both trajectories flattened about two years after the final period [2]. That's a longitudinal observational study rather than a trial, and it describes what happens, not what to do about it.

The payoff is simple, and nobody says it kindly enough: the body you're managing is genuinely different, and the plan that used to work was built for the old one.

The sugar craving specifically

Sleep first. In a cross-sectional study of 769 postmenopausal women with a median age of 63, those reporting six hours of sleep or less had lower serum leptin than the women sleeping eight hours or more, and reported higher energy intake and lower diet quality than the seven-hour group [3]. Sleep and intake were both self-reported, so that's an association, not a cause. In plain English: if you aren't sleeping, you aren't fighting a fair fight the next day, and that's chemistry rather than character.

Mood second. A 2026 cross-sectional study of 211 women in late menopausal transition or postmenopause found psychological and urogenital symptom severity were each independently associated with higher emotional-eating scores, while somatic symptoms showed no clear association [4]. Single-center, in Turkey, self-report instruments throughout. The takeaway is deliberately small: the harder the transition is going, the more likely eating is carrying some of it. That's a description, not a diagnosis.

If sweet is where yours lands, and for most women who write to us it is, there's more on the sugar craving page, on seven ways to bring sugar cravings down, and on food noise, which is the word for the part that keeps talking when you aren't even hungry.

What Ozzi does, and the four things it doesn't

The boundary goes first, because it belongs first. Ozzi is not a menopause product. It doesn't contain hormones or hormone-like compounds, it won't touch hot flashes, night sweats, mood or sleep, and it is not an alternative to hormone therapy. It works on one thing: appetite.

Here's what's in it, at the doses, all six actives printed on the label:

  • 8g allulose. The sweet answer, with about a tenth of the calories of sugar and no glucose or insulin spike. A randomized, double-blind, controlled crossover trial in 18 healthy adults, mean age 24, found allulose significantly raised CCK, GLP-1 and PYY versus water [5]. The gap, out loud: that trial delivered 25g directly into the stomach in young healthy adults, not 8g in a drink in women in their fifties. It shows the pathway is real in humans. It doesn't size the effect for you.
  • 500mg konjac glucomannan. A viscous fiber. It absorbs water and expands in the stomach, which is the least mysterious thing on this list.
  • 500mg L-lysine butyrate (BIOMEnd). Butyrate reaches the L-cells that release GLP-1. The species label matters here: that GLP-1 mechanism is mouse and cell-culture work. The human data on this ingredient is about butyrate delivery into the blood, not about appetite outcomes.
  • 150mg African mango, studied for its effect on leptin, the signal that tells you you've had enough.
  • 300mcg chromium with 10mg ursolic acid, as the Metabolex complex, for blood-sugar support. The complex is ursolic-acid dominant, and the absorption figure quoted for it is the manufacturer's claim, so treat it as one.

Together those support your body's own natural GLP-1 production rather than supplying a hormone. If you want the comparison with the prescription route, it's written out on natural GLP-1 versus GLP-1 medications, and every dose above sits on the ingredients page with the Eurofins NSF/ANSI 173 certificate on the testing page.

One format argument to close on: no caffeine, no stimulants of any kind. That means the stick can be taken in the evening, when the craving usually is, which matters more when sleep is already fragile.

Where this fits with what your doctor says

Hormone therapy is a real option that helps a lot of women, and whether it's right for you is a conversation with your doctor, not with a supplement company. Ozzi isn't an alternative to it and isn't a reason to delay it. It also isn't a reason to avoid it. Women on hormone therapy drink Ozzi, women who've decided against it drink Ozzi, and neither group is doing it wrong.

Two things worth raising at the appointment. Chromium can affect blood sugar, and viscous fibers like glucomannan can change how some oral medications absorb, which includes oral hormone therapy. Every dose is printed on the label, so bring it with you and ask about timing your doses apart.

14-Day Ozzi Challenge: Take it for 14 straight days. If your cravings and food noise aren't quieter, we'll refund your first bag. There's nothing to send back, because we don't do returns, so keep the bag either way. Email help@heyozzi.com with your order number and confirm you used it daily for two weeks. Refunds are valid within 28 days of delivery.

What a Doctor Says About Ozzi

Dr. Anand Balasubramanian, MD Verified clinician · Internal medicine · 19 years in practice

"Drink packets curb cravings while promoting healthy blood sugar"

"When late-night cravings hit, I recommend this drink powder as a possible snack replacement. One ingredient I want to highlight is chromium polyursolate. Research on a related form, chromium picolinate, suggests that it may reduce food intake, lower hunger ratings, and decrease fat cravings in overweight women. Chromium can support insulin function and glucose metabolism, which may help keep blood sugar steady enough to avoid triggering cravings. I find this pairs nicely with the African Mango seed extract in this blend, which research suggests may be connected to improvements in body weight, waist size, and fasting blood sugar. Overall, I believe this supplement can be a helpful option for patients looking to manage cravings and support metabolic health."†

Well, my biggest compliment is also a complaint. 🤪 Sometimes I want to eat out of boredom and I can.’t. My body and mouth will not crave anything. Also, true that constancy is key the second week was when it fully kicked in. Will be buying constantly. Will not run out. I refuse. 😊

Great tasting product! I must confess I was a bit skeptical at first, having tried so many other products in the past. Ozzi definitely cuts down my evening cravings and the watermelon flavor is quite nice!

Vita D. Verified Customer

I love the cherry limeade and watermelon flavors. I drink one in the morning and one in the evening. Basically the times I'm usually craving something sweet. These help me feel satisfied.

Tianna J. Verified Customer

I've been really happy with the product. Not only does it help to curb hunger, but I no longer need my fiber supplements. I don't find the smell off-putting and the taste is great. It's been a winner for me!

Tricia C. Verified Customer

Ozzi does exactly what I wanted it to do - stop my evening munchies. I find it best if I drink it before the munchies have a chance to set in. And yeah - it definitely adds bulk to my "waste management." I already get plenty of fiber, so it took my body a couple days to recalibrate. Both favors are great, with a little zing. So it's a little treat in its own way.

Mother Nature's Best Crave Crushing Ingredients

6 Clinically Studied Ingredients, At The Doses Found Effective.

Perimenopause and Cravings, Answered

The questions women actually search, answered without a lecture. More on the FAQ page.

Why am I suddenly so hungry in perimenopause?

Because the signaling changed, not because you got worse at this. Estrogen interacts with the systems that regulate hunger and fullness, and when it starts fluctuating those signals get less reliable.

Poor sleep makes it worse. In a cross-sectional study of 769 postmenopausal women, median age 63, those reporting six hours of sleep or less had lower serum leptin than the women sleeping eight hours or more, and reported higher calorie intake and lower diet quality than the seven-hour group. Sleep and intake were both self-reported, so that's an association rather than a cause.

Why do I crave sugar so badly during menopause?

Sugar is the fastest fix for two things this transition tends to hand you at once: low energy and low mood. That's why the craving feels urgent rather than casual, and why it so often lands in the evening.

Answering it with something sweet that doesn't spike your blood sugar is a more workable plan than trying to out-discipline it. We went deeper on that on the sugar craving page.

Are perimenopause cravings normal, or is something wrong with me?

Normal, common, and not a character problem. It's one of the most frequent things women in their forties and fifties write to us about, and it's the reason this page exists.

If the cravings come with symptoms that worry you, that's a conversation for your doctor. The cravings on their own are an extremely well-worn road.

Will Ozzi help with my menopause symptoms?

No, and we won't pretend otherwise. Ozzi doesn't treat menopause, doesn't contain hormones, and won't do anything for hot flashes, night sweats, mood, sleep or cycle changes.

It works on appetite and cravings. That's one part of what's going on, and it's the part it was built for.

Can I take this with hormone therapy?

Women on hormone therapy drink Ozzi, and there's nothing in it designed to work against it. Ozzi is a food product with its six ingredients listed at their real doses, so your doctor can review exactly what's in it rather than guess at a proprietary blend.

One specific thing to raise with them. Glucomannan is a viscous fiber, and viscous fibers can change how some oral medications absorb. Oral hormone therapy is an oral medication. So bring the label to your appointment and ask about spacing your doses apart from your stick.

We don't have a position on whether you should be on hormone therapy. That's genuinely not our call.

Is this an alternative to hormone therapy?

No. It's a different thing aimed at a different problem.

Hormone therapy addresses the hormone side and is a decision between you and your doctor. Ozzi supports the appetite side and doesn't touch hormones at all. Choosing one has nothing to do with choosing the other, and Ozzi is not a reason to delay that appointment.

Does estrogen really affect appetite, or is that marketing?

It's real, and the cleanest human evidence is a 2025 systematic review of 15 datasets covering 330 premenopausal women aged 18 to 45: energy intake ran about 168 calories a day higher in the luteal phase than the follicular phase.

That's cycle research in premenopausal women, not menopause research, so it doesn't prove the same size effect in perimenopause. What it does show is that appetite tracks the hormonal environment in humans, not just in animals.

Will this stop menopause weight gain?

We won't promise that, and be careful with anything that does.

What the research shows is that the rate of fat gain accelerates around the menopause transition and then levels off. That's a change in body composition, not something a drink reverses. Ozzi works on cravings and food noise, and what you do with that is up to you.

When should I drink it?

Whenever your cravings actually hit, which for most women writing to us is between 8 and 10pm. There's no caffeine and no stimulants of any kind, so an evening stick won't cost you sleep, and sleep matters more in this stretch than it used to.

One stick in 8 to 12oz of cold water, daily.

What if it doesn't work for me?

14-Day Ozzi Challenge: Take it for 14 straight days. If your cravings and food noise aren't quieter, we'll refund your first bag.

All three parts matter. It's 14 consecutive days of daily use, the refund applies if your cravings and food noise aren't quieter, and it covers your first bag.

There's nothing to send back, because we don't do returns. Keep the bag either way. Email help@heyozzi.com with your order number and confirm you used it daily for two weeks. Refunds are valid within 28 days of delivery.

Why does perimenopause mess with my blood sugar?

Estrogen has a hand in how your cells respond to insulin and how you handle glucose. As it declines and swings, that handling gets less steady, and the place you notice it is the afternoon and the evening. Same food as last year, bigger dip, louder craving.

Ozzi supports steadier blood sugar with 8g of allulose and Chromium Polyursolate, which delivers about 300mcg of chromium plus about 10mg of ursolic acid. It is not hormone therapy and it is not a treatment for menopause. It works on the craving side.

Can I lose weight after menopause naturally?

We are not going to answer that the way most brands would. Ozzi is not a weight-loss product and we will not claim it is.

Here is what it does. This stage makes cravings and food noise louder, and that is the part that makes any eating pattern hard to hold. Ozzi's six actives support satiety signaling and steadier blood sugar so the loop is quieter. What you do with quieter cravings is yours.

14-Day Ozzi Challenge: Take it for 14 straight days. If your cravings and food noise aren't quieter, we'll refund your first bag.
