HUMAN INGREDIENT RESEARCH
OEA and appetite
OEA has been studied for its role in appetite. One longer trial reported improvements in appetite measures at 250 mg daily. A smaller study tested a branded ingredient delivering at least 125 mg OEA.
These studies did not test Ozzi’s complete formula. They don’t establish a guaranteed effect from one serving.
125 mg OEA: what the acute study found
A 2026 single-blind study of 37 adults tested 150 mg TRPTI™, delivering at least 125 mg OEA. Participants ate less at lunch than after placebo, but their reported fullness did not change. The treatments were given in a fixed order, and the supplier funded the study. The branded ingredient is not established as equivalent to Ozzi’s OEA.

A randomized trial enrolled 60 adults with obesity and used 125 mg OEA twice daily for 60 days. It reported improvements in hunger, desire to eat and fullness. That daily amount is twice the OEA in one Ozzi serving; it does not prove a matching result from this blend.

Results vary across studies. An 8-week trial at 125 mg daily in people with prediabetes found no significant difference between groups in food intake or body measurements. The complete Ozzi blend has not been tested in a clinical trial.

Butyrate research supports its biological role as fuel for colon cells and its involvement in gut-barrier function. The BIOMEnd human comparison measured blood butyrate after equal butyric-acid doses. It did not test cravings, weight loss or Ozzi’s 515 mg ingredient serving.

Glucomannan binds water; inulin is a fermentable fiber. Most human trials use several grams daily, compared with 500 mg glucomannan and 190 mg inulin in one Ozzi serving. A glucomannan trial using about 4 g daily found no advantage for weight or hunger/fullness. We don’t treat those higher-dose studies as proof of a result from this blend.

A 10-week trial studied the standardized African mango extract IGOB131 at 150 mg twice daily. Its reported weight and metabolic findings apply to that tested extract and study setting. Ozzi’s label does not identify IGOB131, so we don’t promise those results from our formula.
